SPD International Programme Collaboration with Public and Private Sector in Japan

On Thursday 24 July 2025, Dr Pred Evans, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and Dr Duan Haosheng, met with the CEO of With The World, Mr Shunta Igarashi, and Ms Thanittaya Igarashi (Khun Amm) to discuss further collaboration.

Following on from our MoU signing, this year 3 students from SPD International joined an online student exchange project administered by the government of Japan in partnership with major Japanese companies and will present at the Osaka Expo on September 4th.

With The World is a Japanese education exchange company who focus on global high school student exchange, with a network of 67 countries and almost 300 schools in Japan. It was agreed that we will promote SPD to these 300 high schools in Japan and explore the establishing of links and quota agreements with specific schools for student recruitment.
