Students on the BA in Social Policy and Development International Programme following the Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation course led by Dr Pred Evans, engaged for the first time, on 18 September, 2024, with students from our partner National Taiwan University on a joint course which will see SPD students develop social business plans with their counterparts in Taiwan. Prof Peishan, the course leader in Taiwan, and Prof Joyce Feng, a very important figure in the history of social development in Taiwan, delivered presentations to the Taiwanese and SPD students, and students began the process of sharing their areas of interest in social development.
