On Tuesday 19th March the Faculty of Social Administration at Thammasat University held an international seminar to celebrate World Social Work Day.

The keynote speaker was the President of the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW), Dr Annamaria Campanini.

Prof Ngoh Tiong Tan, Co-Chair of the Publications Committee of IASSW, and Special Protection Specialist from the ILO, Mr Markus Huck also addressed the seminar under the theme of “Buen Vivir: Shared Future for Transformative Change.”

Welcome remarks were provided by Associate. Professor Dr Surat Teerakapibal, Vice Rector for Administration and International Affairs, Thammasat University and Associate Professor Dr. Auschala Chalayonnavin, Dean, Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University. The moderator for the event was Ajarn Pred Evans, Director of SPD and Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University.
