Returning home to pursue a career in leading a future of work initiative to make catalytic impact on Cambodian children at Teach For Cambodia (TFC), a locally-led non-profit organization. TFC takes a unique approach to catalzying change by enlisting Cambodia’s most promising future leaders to work with the most marginalized children and foster their ongoing leadership. As a Project Coordinator, my role is to lead a future of work initiative that builds the leadership of our teacher leaders and students through a public and private partnership. The SPD program equipped me with valuable knowledge, skills and mindsets, enabling me to contribute to a transformative impact on children in my own country. Having been an SPD program alumni, I can confidently say that it is an exceptional program that provides students with a strong foundation in deconstructing and analyzing real-world social problems, conducting in-depth research, honing writing skills, and cultivating a range of invaluable transferrable skills. These credentials acquired through the program will undoubtedly prepare students to excel in their future careers.
