It was 4 years that I absorbed the knowledge from the Social Policy and Development Program. This incredible insight has been utilized, and I am glad that I can come back to Cambodia to be a part of the development contributor. SPD taught me how to analyze social issues, and my work experiences offered me a chance to apply those theories to a practical world. Additionally, SPD equipped me with many soft skills such as communication, critical thinking, negotiation, etc, which enable me to work with people smoothly and efficiently. In my workplace, I’m responsible for assisting the policymaker in formulating policies for the benefit of labor and migrant workers. As a governmental institution, we aim for the best for all Cambodians, including marginalized groups. Hopefully, our policies will produce a better life quality for our people.
