SPD Partners

SPD International Programme has collaborated with Siam University, the Faculty of Business Administration of Chiangmai University, and the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) to conduct preliminary preparation for Social Progress Index (SPI) of Thailand.  The Social Progress Index is an aggregate index of social and environmental indicators that capture three dimensions of social progress: Basic Human Needs, Foundations of Well-being, and Opportunity.

SPI is based on the Social Progress Imperative, which is a network consisting of partner organizations in business, government and civil society that use the Social Progress Index to improve human well-being.  SPD International Programme and our network intends to launch a beta set of SPI Thailand by 2018.
