On 29 April 2024, SPD successfully organized an after school event and talked with the Migration Data and Research Unit (MDRU), International Organization of Migration (IOM) about potential activities for engaging youth in migration studies, especially migrants from Myanmar, Lao PDR, and Cambodia. The MDRU shared their information and experiences to SPD students in various dimensions, including internship opportunities, data accessibility, career development with IOM and UN agencies, as well as opportunities for engaging in activities with IOM.
