SPD-444 Students Participate in 4th International Youth Forum on SDGs and Human Rights

On 22nd of October 2024, SPD-444 Globalization and Child Rights course students attended and United Nations, 4th International Youth Forum on SDGs and Human Rights (IYF4.0) at United Nations Conference Center, Bangkok, Thailand.
The main purpose of IYF 4.0 was to advocate for Sustainable development and youth empowerment. The global event was hosted by the United Nations ECOSOC. The 2024 them of the event was “Empowering Youth for Sustainable and Just Future”.
The forum invited youth leaders, experts, policymakers, and representative from around the world to discuss and drive progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Human rights issues.
The key highlights of the forum were to engaged panels discussions and workshops led by global leaders and policy experts. It provided opportunities for students to network with national and international NGOs.
SPD students not only engaged in the forum, but they also volunteered for the IYF 4.0 the United Nations ECOSOC a certificate of volunteering to SPD students who helped the organizers for smooth function of the event.
